Journalists’ institute calls investigation after assault while reporting in Malta’s capital
In 2018, Malta’s press institute called for an investigation after I was assaulted while reporting from Malta’s capital Valletta. After exposing government workers destroying a protest site for slain journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia, I was requested to testify about what I had observed by Malta’s Constitutional Court.
Retaliation by the Maltese Health Ministry
At the height of the coronavirus pandemic, I sought to interview a Maltese healthcare professional to inform readers about the virus. In retaliation to my previous work, this request was blocked by members of the Maltese health ministry. The incident received international condemnation.
I’m happy to assist media organisations when they need to interview live guests with a special insight into what’s happening in Malta and in the Netherlands. Some outlets I’ve appeared on include Times Radio and LBC.
